Missing Journalist filmed alive in Syria
The footage shows Mr Tice blindfolded as he is prodded and dragged by gunmen dressed in the traditional garb of Islamist militants. The heavily-bearded reporter, wearing a torn green shirt, gives a jumbled recitation of an Arabic prayer before crying out “Oh Jesus”.
The 31-year-old freelance journalist, who wrote for the Washington Post and McClatchy Newspapers, went missing in mid-August and is believed to have been kidnapped in the Darayya, a suburb of Damascus.
