The dumbest invention ever made.
To be fair we have made quite a bit of progress in feeding other parts of the world. Of course there’s always terrible side effects. We’ve demolished food markets in other countries, created dead zones in our oceans, a fragile monoculture and a breeding pool for viruses. Besides all that we’ve managed to sustain a population of 7 billion people on this planet. Something that wasn’t possible until very recently.
